The Child of the Elder God achievement/trophy is awarded for defeating the three elder gods in Alan Wake.

The alan wake how hard is nightmare is a question that has been asked by many players. It takes approximately 2 hours to get the achievement/trophy, but it can be done on Nightmare difficulty.

“Rock’n’rolleeed!” says the achievement and trophy description for Alan Wake Remastered’s Child of the Elder God. To put it another way, you must withstand an assault of Taken while on stage without being critically ill. When the screen goes grey, it indicates a poor health condition.

A fixed encounter along the crucial route is the stage in question. It will be found in the fourth episode of the game. A movie plays in which Barry narrowly avoids being murdered by a Taken due to an unexpected fireworks show that goes off just in time. The achievement quest starts after this cutscene.

Recognizing your environment

There will be a lot of flares and flashbangs in the middle of the stage. Naturally, this ignores the initial wave of attackers approaching you, which may divert your attention away from the rest of your survival gear. Grab the heavy-duty lamp atop a stand on the left-hand side of the stage before doing anything else.

The stand on the other side of the stage contains revolver ammunition, shotgun ammo, and a shotgun, keeping track of the rest of the surrounds. Because of the nature of this encounter, we suggest the shotgun over the hunting rifle for any Taken who manage to slip onto the stage unnoticed.

Two emergency stations are located behind the player spawn and provide ammunition for the revolver, hunting rifle, and shotgun, as well as batteries.

Getting through the assault

Surviving shouldn’t be tough now that you know what you have access to. With that stated, there are a few pointers that will help the process go more smoothly.

Keep your attention away from the stage’s center, since Taken will sometimes arrive from the left or right flanks. These cunning Taken will most likely be your greatest challenge. While racing around the stage, keep rotating the camera to avoid being caught off guard. You also won’t have to worry about fighting a lengthy, uphill struggle. Beyond the initial checkpoint, there are two further checkpoints in this encounter. Even if your health deteriorates or you die, you will still be able to complete the task. You don’t have to restart from the checkpoint if you want to.

Barry will turn on a spotlight at the first checkpoint. A group of Taken will spawn in the field ahead once you reach this first checkpoint. Don’t panic by utilizing the flare gun or launching a flashbang. Barry will use pyrotechnics to eliminate the majority of them.

After all of the opponents in that wave have been defeated, the first checkpoint appears. The second checkpoint, on the other hand, appears even when enemies are present. To activate this checkpoint and despawn the Taken, go into the spotlight.

A large group of Taken will begin their march from the stage’s front-view during this last stretch. Don’t be distracted by this; soon after the second checkpoint, a second Taken appears from the right side of the level. Remove it before using a flashbang or flare gun to eliminate the final bunch.

Congratulations! The Child of the Elder God achievement/trophy has now unlocked.
