The “jason house of ashes” is a horror game developed by The Dark Pictures Anthology. It follows the story of Jason, a man who wakes up in a hospital with no memory of what happened to him. He must find out why he’s there and how to escape before it’s too late.
The most significant achievement in The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is that everyone survived. To achieve so, you must escape several fatal situations and perilous traps. The Meeting
Eric will be asked whether he wants to bring in air assistance for the raid during the briefing. Invoke air support. Later in the tale, the air support will hear you on the radio if you do this. During the game’s climactic phase, helicopters will appear to assist the survivors.
The Raid
When things go wrong and opposing troops open fire on the squad, Jason will have the chance to shoot one of the raid’s shepherds. Shooting the shepherd is not a good idea. Salim’s relationship with Jason will suffer as a result of shooting the shepherd.
Underworld
Jason and Nick will discover Merwin hanging by barbed wire shortly after the world collapses and everyone gets imprisoned. Assist Merwin in surviving. This is spread out across many chapters. To keep him alive, do the following.
- When attempting to keep Merwin quiet, you fail the QTE. Merwin will suffocate if it does not succeed.
- When you come to a fork in the path, choose the safe road.
- When Merwin says he’ll hold off the beast, don’t leave him alone.
All of this will enable Merwin to repair the radio later in the tale, allowing the squad to request air help.
The Temple is a sacred place.
Rachel and Eric will be fleeing Dar throughout this chapter. Rachel falls over a slope as they make their getaway. She takes the rope Eric throws her, but he is unable to hold her and she goes down the hill. When given the option of hanging on or cutting the rope, Eric should choose the latter. Rachel will die as a result of this, but Eric will survive (Rachel falls no matter what anyway).
Following the Fall
When the beast attacks, successfully finish all of the QTEs as Salim. This is the same critter that was hit by a truck. After completing all of the QTEs, Salim will discover the creature’s vulnerability and kill it with a metal pipe.
Slayer
When everyone has returned to the temple. Joey’s screams will be heard by the squad. Instead of Eric, have Joey accompany Nick. When facing Salim, this will help him relax and reduce his guard. Nick and Jason will stumble discover a puddle of blood after they leave. To discover Joey’s medkit, follow the road and travel through a dark tunnel. Nick will be able to help Salim later in the tale as a result of this.
The Truce
Salim will meet up with Nick in this chapter. Allow Nick to join Salim’s scheme, and the two of them will sneak past the neighboring beast and kill it. After then, assure Salim that Nick’s pals would not harm him. Salim’s guard will be lowered as a result, and he and the slain beast will be returned to the temple.
Bloodbath
Rachel is still alive, as you shall learn. Down in the bloody pit, you’ll take command of her. She’ll run across Clarice after a time. Clarice has been infected by the aliens, it turns out. Inside the temple, the crew will be attacked by a variety of animals. Rachel will have the option of running or using the machine gun. Take down several monsters using the machine gun. You won’t need to recall where the explosives were put in the future.
The Nightmare
The crew will enter the catacombs after escaping the temple. More monsters will appear, and a new battle will ensue, complete with several QTEs and options. Make the following decisions:
- Allow Nick to use the crucifix instead of the rifle when he faces Balathu/Kurum.
- Instead of shooting the thing assaulting him, have Salim fire the creature attacking Rachel.
- Choose to rescue Eric as Rachel.
Aeons of Strangeness
Rachel will exhibit indications of turning during the Strange Aeons chapter after getting infected by one of the monsters in a previous chapter. She’ll take out the white phosphorous and raise her knife. Do not cut the white phosphorous with a knife. Tell Jason not to shoot once Nick and Eric have her. Accept Salim’s offer to utilize the cocoons to keep her alive once he creates it. Eric will next use the UV wand to remove Rachel’s illness.
The Vault
Nick has made the decision to detonate the explosives and destroy the animals. Don’t fail any of the QTEs in this section, and while deciding whether to progress or retreat, go ahead. Nick will be OK if you complete the remaining QTEs. Salim will get separated from the gang while everyone else is fleeing. Jason should return to get him.
Daylight
The last chapter is called Daylight. A solar eclipse will occur after everyone has left the caverns, and the animals will emerge from underground. A lengthy QTE sequence will commence. If you fail too many of the QTEs, your characters will begin to die.
