First Place

LA Thieves won the tournament, winning a grand prize of $1.2m – which isn’t bad for four days of work if you ask us! The team was founded two years ago in 2020 and have since played a total of 90 matches and 23 tournaments with an all-time peak viewership of 275,244 people.

Second Place

Atlanta FaZe came second, earning a healthy winning sum of $650K. The team have played a total of 247 matches and have participated in 52 tournaments. The team was founded in 2019, making their all-time peak viewership slightly higher than LA Thieves at 331,558 people.

Third Place

In third place came Seattle Surge, taking home $330k less winnings than Atlanta FaZe, with $320K in their pocket. They too, were founded in 2019 but have participated in a total of 103 matches and 32 tournaments today. Their all-time peak viewership is also much lower at 190,725 people.

Fourth Place

Coming in fourth was OpTic Texas, earning the last of the six-figure prize funds. The team was also founded in 2019 but have only played a total of 45 matches and participated in 11 tournaments. However, despite their team statistics, they proved their worth amongst some of the biggest teams in the season.

So there you have it! As we eagerly await for the 2023 tournament dates to be announced, we suggest looking back at some of the key moments from this year’s event to determine the fittest team ahead of the next season. Good luck!
